Woodcarving
I’m a polymath in ideas and thoughts but my passion and strength is in wood carving. My chisels sing as I cut, I understand the nature of wood and the innate nature of form. I don’t carve to decorate, absence of decoration can lead to a much stronger design.
Descartes said, “Cogito ergo sum” - I think, therefore I am.
I say, “I observe, therefore I carve.”
